Avoid expensive DBS/Satellite TV replacement & repair costs with Cable TV!

Just one of the many drawbacks to owning a DBS satellite system such as Directv or Dish Network is the high cost of replacing equipment and parts, not to mention the expensive service calls! It's a subject the DBS satellite providers won't likely bring up during there sales presentation, instead they may just let the consumer assume those replacements and service calls are dealt with like the Cable companies {Free of charge} no hassle with Cable TV.

That's not so with Dish Network or Directv, any malfunction of equipment is the customer's responsibility, of course after the 1 year warranty runs out. Then the consumers can run into some pretty hefty costs, especially when it comes to replacing some costly HD {High-Definition} receivers or pricey DVR {Digital Video Recorders} receivers!

Spike Milligan: "How long was I in the army? Five foot eleven."

This isn't even mentioning all the other problems that can occur. It can cost a bundle with a DBS satellite system, LNBFs (some still call them LNBs), expensive satellite switches, cabling, remote controls and uhf kits. On top of all that, the consumer still gets stuck paying for the expensive service calls! For some strange reason the public has been led to believe that a DBS satellite TV system is something special? Nothing could be further from the truth! As far as technology goes, Cable TV is much more advanced and years ahead of Satellite TV!

The U.S. Cable industry has spent 100 Billion dollars over the past ten years, building a two-way interactive network using fiber optic technology that far surpasses anything Directv, Dish Network, or any other satellite TV provider has to offer. Your local Cable company can provide High-speed internet, television programming, Cable telephone etc. and does it all with one small Cable! With Cable, there's no need to worry about multiple dishes mounted to your roof with possible future leaks, roof damage or lightning strikes.

Ellen DeGeneres: "My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the hell she is."

Cable TV is the worry-free choice! Take for example, a Cable receiver stops working. It's a simple same day solution to the problem. Either take it to your local Cable providers office for a free replacement or have a service technician deliver the replacement. Now take that same problem with a satellite receiver {Headaches}! First you must talk to the technical department, and good luck getting through their automated phone system. From there you have to talk to the RA {Return Authorization} department where they determine if the receiver is past it's one year warranty, and even if it's still under warranty the consumer must still pay shipping! If it's out of warranty, the consumer better have their credit card handy to pay for a replacement receiver, which could be hundreds of dollars depending on the model. After all that hassle there's still more frustration, it could be several days to more than a week to receive the replacement receiver, with the consumer missing all their favorite television programming.
